Information about the host Enjoy your stay in a wonderfully peaceful yet central location – in a small side street right by the idyllic River Prien. Our two lovingly furnished holiday flats, each accommodating two people, invite you to leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind and feel completely at home. Each flat has its own entrance and a unique layout: living upstairs, sleeping downstairs via a spiral staircase. A cosy temporary home that instantly puts you in a holiday mood. The town centre is just a few minutes’ walk away. There you’ll find various shops, a supermarket, inviting cafés, traditional restaurants and the railway station with a bus stop. Perfect for anyone who enjoys a leisurely stroll. Right from the front door, you can set off on relaxing walks, scenic mountain hikes or varied cycle rides through the surrounding countryside and up into the mountains. Your holiday begins the moment you open the door. A free car park at the house and free Wi-Fi are, of course, available to you. Please note: Unfortunately, dogs and other pets are not permitted. Just a few minutes away lies Lake Chiemsee with its islands – a place to enjoy nature, culture and relaxing moments by the water. For day trips, Salzburg with its historic old town, Munich with its museums, shopping and sights, and Kufstein in Tyrol with its impressive fortress. Many of these destinations are easily accessible by car or by train, making them ideal for guests who want to experience a lot and appreciate variety. About the host Our two holiday flats are situated in our detached house – so we live on the premises ourselves and would like to extend a warm welcome to you. Should you have any questions, need tips on day trips or have any minor concerns, we are always happy to help. To ensure your holiday gets off to a relaxing start, the host will, of course, also help you carry your suitcases up the spiral staircase. For children and young people aged 6 to 15, the visitor's tax is €1.80 per person/night. Children up to the age of 5 are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax for the municipality of Aschau i. Ch. directly to your host. Arrival Description From Frasdorf / coming from the motorway: After the town sign, follow the road to the petrol station. Immediately after the petrol station, turn left onto Rosenstraße before the bridge, then turn right straight away onto Prienstraße. Description of the accommodation The cosy, non-smoking holiday flat “Kampen” welcomes you with its warm country-house style and offers a particularly pleasant living environment across two levels. High-quality wooden parquet floors lend the rooms a natural, calm atmosphere that immediately invites you to relax. Via the small balcony terrace with four steps, you reach your own separate entrance – a retreat for a restful holiday. In the upper living area, you’ll find a cosy corner bench with a dining table, a flat-screen cable TV and free Wi-Fi. The open-plan, fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, filter coffee machine and kettle offers everything you need for relaxed meals. A sofa bed (140/200) complements the living area and invites you to read, relax or simply unwind. On the balcony terrace, you can enjoy sunny moments, fresh air and the view of the mountains – ideal for a quick break in between. A particular highlight of the flat is the solid cast-iron spiral staircase, which connects both levels . It is not only extremely sturdy and comfortable to walk on, but also a real eye-catcher that lends the living space a charming, unique touch. This staircase leads you to the lower level of the flat. There you’ll find the quiet bedroom, which, with its pleasant atmosphere, ensures a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom, with a shower and toilet, is modern and functional in design. An additional storage room with a washing machine, a clothes horse and cleaning products is also at your disposal. Bed linen and towels are, of course, provided.
